Dr Ray Yong is an Australian trained surgeon and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He studied at The University of Melbourne Medical School on a scholarship and graduated in 2003. Following medical school, he trained in the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Austin Hospital.
He currently holds appointments as a visiting specialist surgeon in St Vincent's Private Hospital Werribee, The Avenue Private Hospital and the Wyndham Clinic Private Hospital.

He is highly passionate about looking after women with breast pain, breast lumps and breast cancers. He performs breast conserving surgery, level 1 oncoplastic surgery and mastectomy when indicated.
He also specialises in thyroid and parathyroid surgeries. He operates on both benign goitres and cancerous thyroid nodules.
